Operation Happy Note

When Steve and Barb Baker’s son was deployed to Iraq, they sent him a guitar from their store, Fergus Music, and soon a friend wanted one! Thus started Operation Happy Note for deployed soldiers. They have sent hundreds of guitars, mandolins, banjos, violins and harmonicas and are getting more and more requests.

They have a webpage:

Email: info@operationhappynote.com

They accept donations of money or instrutments. So if you have an instrutment you aren’t using or can donate money to keep the happy notes going, please do! Read some of the letters of appreciation!
